Digital Signage (CMS) Software - Contegro

To manage your digital signage and touch screen devices, you have the choice of operating Contegro (the content management system)
via the Cloud or a Standalone solution. Here's an overview of Contegro’s functions in supporting your signage network:



Managing slides has never been easier. Simply access our Slide Manager via a web browser on your computer, tablet or mobile device. Our predefined templates remove the complexity when creating and editing your slides.

To grab your audience’s attention and interest, these templates control the dynamic aspects of the slide; from vibrant transitioning effects through to automated data feeds from 3rd party systems.


A playlist is used to order your slides that are displayed on screens and the Drag-n-Drop functionality makes changing the order of your slides simple. The total duration of your playlist is automatically calculated as you add and remove slides.

You can display different content at various times of the day or week by using the scheduler functionality to control multiple playlists; allocating playlists according to a specific schedule. This gives you complete control and flexibility, which is ideal for Menu Boards or communication channels where you require day-part scheduling.


Keep an eye on how your digital signage network is performing with the system’s monitoring capability. The Uptime Report is ideal for ongoing monitoring. For large-scale networks, this report can be continuously displayed on a screen either within your offices or at our support centre.

With this set up, you will be aware to any issues. You can take care of any problems that arise using the Content Management Software to remotely control displays. That is the beauty of System-on-Chip technology – clever and hassle free!



Media Player

Physical or Built-in?

Take advantage of our built-in media player with LG’s System-on-Chip (SoC) technology as part your digital signage solution. It offers substantial advantages over traditional external media players that are often unstable and add unnecessary cost for large networks. With LG commercial screens, this technology allows software to run directly on a 'chip' within the screen itself - functioning as an energy efficient built-in player.

If you already have external media players in your network, there is no proprietary hardware required to use our software. It can operate on any media player hardware that runs; Windows, Linux (Ubuntu) and Android.


Updates and changes to slides, playlists and schedules are communicated from the Content Management software to the media player software.

Your media player is ingeniously designed to ensure continuity of display by saving any changes communicated by the CMS directly on the media player.

The player operates on a local level to present screen content and manage any day-part scheduling. So even if you lose an internet connection, there will be no disruption to your display.



Digital Display

Not all screens are equal

Screens range from; standard consumer TV screens, commercial TV screens (for hotels and motels) through to commercial displays (for digital signage). We're strong advocates for using commercial displays for digital signage networks because they are made 'fit-for-purpose’ and the result is professional and effective.
